DENTAL CAD

Using programmed software, dental restorations can now be precise and offer more individualization. Production is easier and quicker with computer aided design and manufacturing. Technicians can visualize and alter their restorations in a virtual setting. Technicians can create the design on screen and see what the end result will look. See the restoration before production. Archive all changes on the digital file and retrieve, duplicate, and send with a click of a button.

INTRAORAL SCANNERS

Intraoral scanning is revolutionizing how dentists are creating restorations for their patients. Digital scanners are AI-powered and equipped with lasers for life-like impressions. They create computer-generated models of the mouth’s hard and soft tissues. Record the size and shape with accuracy and create 3D renderings of the mouth. Physical molds and alginate impergum are not needed.

Additive and Subtractive Fabrication

Computer software directs 3d printers and determines the outcome of the restoration. Liquid resin is layered on a stationary plate and exposed to a light source that cures it into a solid material. The stacked layers form the walls of a three-dimensional object. Subtractive milling methods carve away at solid blocks of dental material. Also directed by software, this method is much more timely and there is little room for human error. The time it takes to hand-mold and sculpt is completely eliminated.

• We are an iTero Certified Lab, please connect with us at any time for support or questions regarding your scanner.

• On your Cerec Connect Account, select “My Cerec Connect.”
• Search for Cornerstone Dental Lab. Check the box for Cornerstone Dental Lab and select “ADD.”
• Whenever you submit a case via Cerec, select our lab from your list.

MEDIT LINK

• Go to the Partners Tab and select “My Partner List”.
• Type in the lab’s name in the search bar, click on the “Request Partnership” button, and wait for your new partner to accept your request.
• Once we have accepted your request, you can begin sending orders to us. Each order will be listed as “Pending” until we accept it.

THIRD PARTY IOS

• We also accept cases from 3rd Party scanners such as; Midmark, BioBigBox, DDX, Heron Cloud and Shining 3D. You can find us on these IOS Portals by searching our Digital email at [email protected]. You may also send raw STL scans, DICOMS and zipped files directly to this email, providing you include Case Notes and pertinent information in your email.
